On February 25, 2023, in accordance with collaborative agreement with Abu Ali ibn Sino Public Health Technical School of Pakhtachi district of Samarkand region, the representatives of Phthisiology and Pulmonology Department of the 1st Medical Faculty of Samarkand State Medical University made a regular visit to the mentioned Technical School.

  During the visit, representatives of Samarkand State Medical University held discussions on planned and ongoing activities in the field of phthisiology and pulmonology, reforms in education and professional orientation of young people.

  Also during the visit, the Head of the Phthisiology and Pulmonology Department, PhD A.A. Kim delivered a public lecture on "Prevention of Tuberculosis". Additionally, the master class on "Healthy Lifestyle as a Basis for Well-Being" was conducted by PhD H. I. Turdibekov. Both seminars were conducted in the format of lively discussion with the participants.

  During the open classes, the staff of the department provided detailed answers to the questions of the students and teachers of the technical school.
