On February 23, a meeting with doctoral students and independent applicants was held at the Samarkand State Medical University. The meeting was attended by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Shukhrat Ziyadullayev, Head of the Department of Scientific Research, Innovation and Training of Scientific and Pedagogical Personnel Antonina Kim, doctoral students, basic doctoral students and independent applicants of Samarkand State Medical University. The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Sh.Kh. Ziyadullayev.

  Speaking at the meeting, the head of the department of scientific research, innovation and training of scientific and pedagogical personnel A.A. Kim, the head of the department of humanities A.N. Makhmudova, an employee of the scientific department M. Annaev highlighted a wide range of issues regarding improving the quality of training of highly qualified personnel foreign languages, methods for choosing scientific journals for publishing the results of research work, using the international scientific database "Web of Science". During the meeting, step-by-step instructions for working with this database were given, its resources and importance in the dissertation work were demonstrated. The meeting also discussed the state of research work, the timing of the implementation and defense of the dissertation.

  Such meetings with dissertators will undoubtedly contribute to the prompt solution of issues related to research activities by young researchers.
