A meeting with students of the Samarkand State Medical University on the topic "Corruption - a threat to a prosperous future!" was held on January 30. The meeting was attended by representatives of the rectorate, the staff of the Compliance Control Department, Assistant Prosecutor of Samarkand City J. Sharopov, Deputy Head of the Organizational Department of the Internal Affairs Department of Samarkand Region M. Kattakulov, representatives of the "Future without Corruption" NSO (nonstate organization), prevention inspector O. Eshmurodov and students of the University.
Thus, the meeting was opened by E. Tangirov, Vice-rector on work with youth and spiritual-educational work of the university. In their speeches the assistant prosecutor of Samarkand city J. Sharapov, the employee of the NSO "Future without Corruption" R. Mirzaalimov and other speakers explained in detail the questions "What is corruption?" and "How to prevent corruption? During the meeting it was highlighted that there is a lot of work being done in the country to counteract corruption and the pernicious consequences of corruption in various spheres were shown.
The meeting was a lively dialogue, and the participants received answers to all their questions.
