From 23 to 27 January, a seminar with international participation "School of obstetrician-gynecologist. Emergency conditions in obstetrics, or why obstetrician-gynecologist and anesthesiologist-resuscitators are always paired" was held in Gomel State Medical University (Gomel, Republic of Belarus). The seminar was attended by Shukhrat Valiev and Sanjar Rafikov from Samarkand State Medical University's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology #2.
Thus, during the seminar the lectures and master classes with distinguished anesthesiologists-resuscitators and obstetricians-gynecologists of the Republic of Belarus as well as familiarization meetings with clinical bases of the University were conducted for participants.
The SamSMU delegates were welcomed by Igor Stoma, Rector of the Gomel State Medical University. Also during the visit agreements were reached on cooperation in carrying out joint scientific research, implementation of academic mobility programmes for students and teachers.
