The Military-Medical Academy of Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established on the 20th of October, 2020 on the base of Military-Medical faculty of Tashkent Medical Academy in accordance with the decree of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for establishing qualitatively new system of preparing personnel in the field of military medicine". The academy's basic aim is to train military medical personnel to meet modern requirements.

  Thus, in order to attract students wishing to study in the Military Medical Academy, a meeting was held at Samarkand State Medical University between students and representatives of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces. The meeting was attended by Head of Military Therapy and Toxicology Department of the Academy, Lieutenant Colonel Akram Nurmurodov, Lieutenant Mamarasul Sulaimanov, representatives of Central Military District, Youth Affairs Agency, Military Prosecutor`s Office and students of 5th year of medical faculty of Samarkand State Medical University.

  Thus, all attendants of the meeting received detailed information on activities of the Military Medical Academy, the order and directions of study at the university. Speakers at the event drew attention to reforms carried out since the formation of our Armed Forces, order of enrolment and service, privileges for cadets of military higher educational establishments.

  The meeting took place in the format of a lively dialogue, and the students received detailed answers to all their questions.
