On December 14, an international round table on the topic "Pediatric and surgical aspects of colon diseases in children" was held at the specialized children's surgical clinic of the Samarkand State Medical University.Heads of departments of paediatrics and neonatology at the university, paediatricians, neonatologists, neurologists and paediatric surgeons from city medical and preventive institutions, as well as relevant specialists from district health units participated directly online in the event.

  The round table was opened by the head of the specialized pediatric surgical clinic of the Samara State Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Jamshid Shamsiev. At the event, the scientific director of pediatric surgery at the Central Clinical Hospital under the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation, Professor of the Department of Pediatric Surgery named after S.Ya. Igor Kirgizov held a master class "Parenteral and enteral nutrition in pediatrics, nutritional features of severe and debilitated patients."The speaker provided the latest information on the issues raised and methods of treating patients.
