Within the framework of III Russian-Uzbek Educational Forum, Samarkand State Medical University hosted the visit of the delegation of Kalmyk State University named after B.B. Gorodovikov headed by the rector, Badma Salayev.

  The visiting delegation was met by rector of SamSMU Jasur Rizaev and Vice-Rector for International Relations Zafar Aminov. During the negotiations held in the atmosphere of mutual understanding the rectors of the two universities signed a memorandum of cooperation in scientific and medical spheres between the two universities.

  During the visit delegation members were also able to familiarize in detail with the conditions created for the educational process in the new building, the museum of the history of the university.
