On September 30, activists of Women`s Advisory Council of Samarkand State Medical University in connection with the remarkable day – “October 1 - the Day of teachers and mentors” held a commemorative meeting under the motto “Teachers are the gardeners of the flowerbed of knowledge!” with a group of long-standing and distinguished university teachers.
The organisers of the event and the honoured teachers talked about the changes that have taken place in the country in recent years, the attention and care given to teachers, the achievements of the university, the opportunities created for students to receive higher medical education, and also gave instructions and advice to the young staff. As part of the meetings, honoured university lecturers were presented with flowers and holiday greetings.
