On June 17, the final stage of intellectual game “Zakovat” for “Dean's Cup” of Medical and Pediatric Faculties of Samarkand State Medical University took place at the student dormitory #1 in order to realize “5 initiatives” of the Head of State in the sphere of culture, art, sport, information technologies and instilling a culture of reading in youth, as well as providing meaningful leisure to youth.

  Thus, teams of medical faculty “Dream-team”, “Ocean” and “Ibn Sino” competed in the finals. Among the teams of Pediatric Faculty the following ones participated in the competition: “Leaders”, “Logic” and “Aurum-99”.

  As a result of intense intellectual struggle among the teams of Medical Faculty the team “Ocean” was declared the winner.

  Among the teams of Pediatric Faculty the 1st year students team “Leaders” won the 3rd place, the 3rd year team “Logic” won the 2nd place and the 1st year team “Aurum-99” won “Dean's Cup”. Moreover, at the initiative of the Youth Union there was held a competition for students of the faculty in the categories “The most resourceful girl” and “The most resourceful guy”. They were first-year students of pediatrics faculty Davranova Malika and Sindarov Mirsharof.

  At the end of the game, members of the winning teams were gifted certificates of honor and memorable gifts by deans of the faculties.
