On June 2, 2022 in Urgench city of Khorezm region was held III regional stage of the contest "The Most Active Student Theatre Studios of the Year" organized with support of Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, Ministry of Culture and Youth Affairs Agency of Uzbekistan.

  Samarkand State Medical University's theatre studio group "Followers of Ibn Sina (Avicenna)" took part in the competition and won the regional stage and a trip to Urgench.

  The historical drama "Renaissance" presented by the university students was warmly received by all participants and organizers of the contest. According to the results of Republican competition, SamSMU's theatre-studio was recognized as winner in nomination "For praising national traditions and values!" and awarded with relevant diploma.

  We congratulate the staff of the theatre-studio of the University on the high award and wish new successful performances!
