On May 26, 2022 there were presented the results of the 2nd regional stage of the contest "The most active student theater studios of the year" among the universities of Samarkand region, according to which the theater-studio "The Followers of Ibn Sina (Avicenna)" of Samarkand State Medical University won 1st place. As a result, the team of the University won a trip to the 3rd regional stage of the contest to be held on June 2 in Urgench city of Khorezm region.
