On February 14, a meeting with representatives of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at Samarkand State Medical University.
The head of the Academy department, lieutenant colonel of the medical service J.A.Kutliev and the head of the department of sanitary and epidemiological supervision of Samarkand, major of the medical service A.Sh.Oltiev acquainted students with the history of the academy, its activities and the opportunities created here. Detailed information was also provided on the procedure for submitting documents, training conditions, as well as bachelor's degree programs, military internship, clinical residency, master's degree and doctoral studies.
Conversations were held with those wishing to enroll in the Academy, during which students were able to get answers to all their questions.
Reference: the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in 2021 on the basis of the Military Medical Faculty at the Tashkent Medical Academy in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4870 dated October 22, 2020 "On measures to organize a new system of training personnel in the field of military medicine". The Academy is engaged in the training, retraining and advanced training of medical personnel for the ministries and departments that are part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the training of highly specialized specialists, scientific and pedagogical personnel and medical officers.
