The national values of the Uzbek people are clearly reflected in their beautiful traditional costumes. Folk customs, clothing culture, adras and satin fabrics have an ancient and rich history.

  A festival of national costumes was held at the Samarkand State Medical University under the slogan "National values are a mirror of the spirituality of the nation." The event was attended by employees of the faculty of medical pedagogy, higher nursing and traditional medicine and departments of the university. The festival included theatrical scenes, performances and a show of national costumes reflecting the identity and culture of the uzbek people.
