The working group of the Samarkand State Medical University, in pursuance of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated November 29, 2024 No. PQ-407, aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among the population and improving the health of residents of remote areas, conducts medical examinations in the districts of the region.

  On January 25, at the family medical care center of the Algar mahalla in the Urgut district, qualified employees of SamSMU conducted an examination and consultation of the population. The purpose of the events is to provide affordable medical services for socially vulnerable groups of the population, organize regular examinations and treatment to improve the quality of life. Also, employees of the departments of obstetrics and gynecology, otolaryngology of the university performed complex surgical operations and held master classes.

  Large-scale and systematic work carried out by the faculty and working group of SamSMU in remote areas of the region plays an important role in the formation of a healthy lifestyle and improvement of the healthcare system among the local population..
