A surgical center equipped with new and modern technologies was established in the multidisciplinary clinic of Samarkand State Medical University, and many complex surgical procedures are being performed in this center today.

  For example, on July 13 of this year, a high-tech kidney transplant was successfully performed on a 20-year-old patient with end-stage chronic kidney disease by the staff of the Department of Surgical Diseases and Transplantology No. 1 of SamSMU.

  After the operation, the patient and the donor were under constant medical supervision, and the patient's current condition is good.

  Now, it is planned to carry out regular kidney transplant operations at the center. Such complex and high-tech operations carried out in the multidisciplinary clinic of Samarkand State Medical University contribute to the further improvement of the healthcare system of our country.
