On November 1 of the current year in Samarkand State Medical University was organized a meeting with representatives of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The meeting was attended by senior students of the Faculty of Medical Prevention and Public Health and Medical Faculty of the University.

  During the meeting the guests were provided with detailed information about the history, activities and opportunities to study at the Academy. In particular, detailed information was given about the procedure of admission and study at the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, directions and specialties of bachelor's degree, military internship, clinical residency, master's degree and doctoral studies. Discussions were held with students wishing to study at the Academy. The students had an opportunity to get answers to all their questions.

  For information, the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan is organized and operates since 2021 on the basis of the Military Medical Faculty of the Tashkent Medical Academy. The Academy provides training, retraining and advanced training of personnel meeting modern requirements in the field of military medicine for ministries and departments of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, trains narrow specialists in the field of medicine, scientific and pedagogical personnel, including reserve officers and medical service reserve.
