Professors of bioethics of Harvard University visited Samarkand State Medical University

  Over the past few years, Samarkand State Medical University has been successfully expanding international cooperation with universities, as well as research centers and clinics in the United States. In particular, partnerships have been established with the University of Pittsburgh, New York University at Albany, Webster University, and Saint Louis University.

  Samarkand State Medical University was visited by another American delegation consisting of representatives of Harvard University: Dr. Kerim Munir - Head of the Psychiatric Department of the University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disorders of the Boston Children's Hospital of Harvard University, Dr. Daniel Wikler - Professor of Ethics and Public Health, Department of Global Health and Population Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University.

  Harvard University is the most famous American university, one of the top three universities in the world.

  During the visit, a meeting of the delegation members with the rector of Samarkand State Medical University prof. Jasur Rizaev. During the negotiations, issues of the development of bioethics in the republic were discussed, as a science and an applied discipline to improve the quality of medical services to the population.

  As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on cooperation between Samarkand State Medical University and Harvard University in the implementation of joint research projects in the field of bioethics.
