On June 2, Samarkand State Medical University was visited by representatives of a number of higher medical educational institutions of the Russian Federation, who were there to participate in the Uzbek-Russian International Medical Forum held in Samarkand on June 3-4.

  During the negotiations, the rector of the Samara State Medical University, Prof. Jasur Rizaev, with representatives of the Ural State Medical University, the Bashkir State Medical University and the Belgorod National Research Institute, the established forms and channels of cooperation were discussed, as well as long-term plans for future joint projects on academic mobility, training through postgraduate studies and doctoral studies, the implementation of joint research projects.

  Members of the delegations also had the opportunity to get acquainted with the conditions for conducting the educational process in the new building of the university.
