Samarkand State Medical University is continuously providing methodical support to secondary and secondary vocational schools of Urgut region.

  Thus, on March 4, a round table on the theme "Healthy future is the backbone of the country, strong family, the foundation of Motherland" was held at a vocational school of Urgut district. The round table was attended by teachers and students of schools, representatives of the makhalla (eng. regional self-government unit), and youth leaders.

  At the round table, the head of the department of pathological physiology of Samarkand State Medical University, associate professor Gulnoza Samieva gave a lecture on "Healthy lifestyle, prevention and etiology of diseases, improvement of sports and physical education among adolescents"; associate professor of the department of internal medicine № 4 Mukhayyo Berdikulova spoke on "Etiology, treatment and prevention of allergic diseases among population" online. Asliddin Akbarov, a student of the University - "Health Promoter", gave detailed explanations to the participants on the etiology, pathogenesis, clinical symptoms and treatment methods of diseases caused by vitamins deficiency. The event was organised in a spirit of open and active dialogue and discussion.

  At the end of the event, 30 active and talented young participants were presented with certificates and mementos.
