On November 8, Samarkand State Medical University hosted a visit from Andrey Akulovich, a professor of orthopaedic dentistry of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, Russian Federation).
During the visit, the Russian professor was received by the Rector of Samarkand State Medical University Professor Zhasur Rizaev, and after negotiations an agreement was reached to deepen cooperation in training personnel, holding regular methodical master classes for teachers of the university, and a number of other projects.
While visiting the museum of the university and the departments of therapeutic and orthopedic stomatology, the foreign guest highly appreciated conditions and opportunities created for training students.
Thus, professor Andrey Akulovich held a seminar and a master class for students and teachers of Samarkand State Medical University on “Tooth splinting in the complex treatment of periodontal diseases” in the large assembly hall of the university. Modern complex methods of treating patients with periodontal disease and their effectiveness and advantages were explained in detail at the seminar. The classes were held in the format of active discussion, the participants received detailed answers to all their questions.
