On April 28, the Chairwoman of the Samarkand State Medical University Women's Advisory Council, Gavkhar khudayberdiyeva, tutor of the 1st Medical Faculty, Shukhrat Kholmurodov, and students visited Pakhtachi district of the region.

  Representatives of the university held a meeting with students of 9-11 classes and teachers of secondary school # 1 of the district on the theme "My profession is my pride". Also, within the framework of the meeting an intellectual game "Zakovat", theatrical performances and a conversation with schoolchildren on the choice of future profession was held among schoolchildren.

  SamSMU staff together with representatives of the district khokimiyat (eng. local government) also held meetings and discussions with residents of "Kurpa", "Gulshan" and "Yebi" makhallas (eng. village).
