On April 16, according to the approved plan, a group of teachers from the Departments of Social Sciences and Humanities, Russian and Uzbek Language and General Surgery, Faculty of Medical Pedagogy, Nursing and Traditional Medicine of Samarkand State Medical University visited Ibn Sina Medical College of Public Health in Khatirchi district, Navoi region.

  SamSMU professors held several master classes for teachers and students of the technical school on current areas of development strategy, medical terminology and general surgery issues.

  Representatives from the university also took an active part in the "Taking the Oath" ceremony for the first-year students of the Public Health Technical School.

  During the visit, further activities to provide methodological assistance and improve the quality of education were discussed with the management of the technical school.
