On the eve of March 8, International Women's Day, a number of events were organized at Samarkand State Medical Institute. Chess, checkers, table tennis and arm wrestling competitions were organized for the teaching stuff of the institute. The competitions were held in a festive atmosphere.

  In addition, a concert programme was organised as part of the event, and flowers and mementos were presented to the active participants.
