On October 29, 2021, the regional stage of the annual republican competition "Yil ayoli" ("Woman of the Year"), organized by the Republican Public Council of Women, the Ministry of Makhalla (citizens' council) and Family Support, the State Trust Fund for Women Support, took place in Samarkand regional information and library centre named after A. S. Pushkin.

  The purpose of the event was to identify exemplary women actively involved in public life, to make the general public aware of their activities and to popularize good practice. The contestants competed in 3 areas.

  Thus, Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology No.2 of the Samarkand State Medical Institute, DSc., M.T.Nasriddinova participated, took the honourable 1st place and was directed to attend the regional stage of the contest.
