A meeting with first year students of the Faculty of Pharmacy was held in the conference hall of new building of Samarkand State Medical Institute.
So, the meeting was attended by Vice Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Enlightenment E.S.Tangirov, dean of the faculty N.M.Shavazi, chairman of the Women's Council of the Institute G.I.Khudojberdiyeva, deputy deans, heads of chairs of the faculty and the leader of the youth of faculty N.N.Nurmamadov.
Thus, at a meeting with students, Vice Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual Enlightenment E.S.Tangirov stressed the need for educated, literate and fully developed students specialists, and expressed the hope that such students will serve our country. Participants of the meeting discussed achievements of active and talented students of our institute, noted that students who participated in the meeting will diligently contribute to the activity of the institute and wished them success in their further studies.
Dean of the faculty, professor N.M.Shavazi welcomed all the participants and informed them about the history of the institute and its present status, as well as conditions and opportunities created by the management of our institute for the education of students. It was emphasized that the students of the Faculty of Pharmacy should always be proud to study at such institute. The Dean of the Faculty urged the students to study well, always follow the rules of healthy lifestyle and hygiene and be an example for all.
During the meeting with students, Chairwoman of the Women's Council of SamSMI, G. Khudoyberdiyeva also encouraged students to take an active part in public life of the institute, in many scientific clubs, and take full advantage of all the opportunities created at the institute.
During the meeting Head of the Department of Medical Chemistry, DSc. D.K.Kholmurodova similarly shared her views with students and wished them to continue their studies and raise the name of our institute.
During the meeting all suggestions of the students of the faculty were heard and they received answers to all their questions.
At the end of the meeting, the students took pictures with their teachers.
