In every educational institution, libraries of information resource centers play an important role in the educational process. They are centers for the accumulation and dissemination of new knowledge for teachers and students. An important modern trend in the development of librarianship is the introduction of new technologies for organizing the work of libraries and serving readers.

  On August 26, the responsible specialists of the Main Scientific Medical Library of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan held a training seminar on the topic “New library technologies” for the employees of the information resource center of the library of the Samarkand State Medical Institute. The informative speeches of the speakers aroused great interest among the participants of the seminar. Also, representatives of GNMB answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants of the training.
