During the visit of Samarkand State Medical Institute's delegation to Russian Federation, a working meeting was held between Rector J.A.Rizaev and Director of National Medical Research Centre "Central Research Institute of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery" (CRIDOMS) Professor F.F.Losev.

  Thus, , topical issues of modern medicine and opportunities for cooperation in the training of highly qualified personnel were discussed during the constructive negotiations.

  As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on signing Memorandum of Understanding between Samarkand State Medical Institute and Central Research Institute of Dentistry and Maxillofacial Surgery to provide the organization of short-term trainings for clinical residents and master`s degree students in dentistry and maxillofacial surgery, advanced training courses for young teachers, implementation of distance learning projects.

  The Samarkand State Medical Institute expresses its deep respect and appreciation to the management of CRIDOMS for the warm welcome and willingness to cooperate.
