It is well known that currently in our country special attention is paid to the involvement of women scientists in research work and use of their potential. The participants of the scientific-practical conference "The place of women scientists in the development of society" focused on the issues of place and significance, role of women scientists in the development of society.

  Women scientists of the Samarkand State Medical Institute also took an active part in the meeting organized by the Samarkand regional branch of «Олима-аёллар» Society in cooperation with the Women Council of the UzLiDeP Party's provincial Kengash.

  So, the speakers addressed to the conference and reported on the work accomplished during the last year and perspectives for 2021, as well as the tasks arising from the Presidential Address to the Oliy Majlis.

  During the scientific conference our female colleagues presented their innovative developments, which were highly appreciated by the organizers and guests. All active participants were awarded certificates of merit of the conference.
