Teachers from the Department of Phthisiology at Samarkand State Medical University visited the Abu Ali ibn Sina Public Health Technical School in Urgut district of Samarkand province.

  During the visit, representatives of the university met with teachers and students of the technical school, conducted explanatory talks on healthy lifestyle, healthy eating and physical activity, students' choice of future profession, and raise their awareness about the conditions created for the educational and training process. During the visit, representatives of SamSMU also presented several sets of books to the technical school's library.

  A demonstrative lesson on "What we know about tuberculosis" was held with the participation of students and teachers of the technical school, and detailed explanations were given about the causes and forms of possible transmission of the disease.

  As a result of the visit, it was agreed to hold similar meetings with the students of the technical school on a regular basis.
