On the initiative of SamSMU the visit of teachers and pupils of 11th secondary school of Koshrabat district on April 12 was organized.

  The visit began with a meeting with Rector of the University, Professor Zh.A.Rizaev. The rector of the university told the guests: "The doors of the university are always open to pupils and our university will continue to support the schools of Koshrabat district with all its might. You should work on yourselves and, of course, you will get an opportunity to study at such a prestigious university.

  The students learned about the history of the university by going to the museum, participated in classes, looked at laboratory work and attended lectures.

  A "Young Reader" competition was held in the lecture hall of the Department of Medical Chemistry. The event was attended by Prof. N.M. Shavazi, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of Samarkand State Medical University, Prof. N.A. Muradova, Head of the Department of Spirituality and Education of SamSMU, and teachers of the Department of Medical Chemistry. At the end of the event, the winners were gifted books. The Vice Principal and Chemistry teacher of the school, who were active in strengthening cooperation between the school and the university, were awarded certificates of merit and visual aids by the University Rector. The university tour made a great impression on the students and teachers of the school.

  Afterwards, on the initiative of the university, an field trip to the historical monuments of Samarkand was held for the guests.

  The school administration expressed gratitude to the management of Samarkand State Medical University for organizing such an event.
