On March 12, 2022 within the framework of the "Meeting of Three Generations" , a working group of Samarkand State Medical Institute led by Prof. N.N.Abdullayeva, Vice-Rector for Medical Care, Head Physician of the 1st Clinic of SamSMI and academic staff traveled to Kattakurgan city to conduct in-depth medical examination of the population of Ingichka village of Kattakurgan town. The meeting of three generations in Kattakurgan was attended by Samarkand Region Khokim (eng. head of local government) Erkinjon Turdimov and Minister of Makhalla (eng. local self-governing body) and Elderly Affairs Tursinkhan Khudaibergenov.

  A medical examination of the population was organised at the venue of the festive event, at General School No. 12, as well as at home for the non-walking sick and elderly. Representatives of the village were able to receive expert consultation from a neurologist, surgeon, paediatrician, obstetrician-gynaecologist, otorhinolaryngologist, ophthalmologist, therapist, oncologist and endocrinologist. In addition to the medical examination, a discussion was held on measures for the prevention of non-infectious diseases, adherence to a healthy lifestyle and diet, and increasing physical activity. The Institute's working group distributed handouts in particular, booklets and leaflets on healthy lifestyle to the participants.
