On February 17, 2022 a round table on the topic “Military doctor - an honorary title” was held in Samarkand State Medical Institute, for the 5th year students of medical faculty and the 4th year students of the Faculty of Medical Prevention, Public Health and Medical Biology, within the selection process of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

  The meeting was attended by Deputy Deans of the Medical Faculty of Samarkand State Medical Institute N.A. Muradova, Z.Z. Umarkulov, T.Kh. Nabiev, 450 students, representative of enforcement bureau of Samarkand region Tursunov S.Sh., senior officer of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel B.Kh. Khalimov and senior resident of Samarkand military hospital Captain U.Z. Nazarov.

  In order to select cadets for the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a propaganda talk was held the theme “Military Doctor - an honorary title”.

  The event began with a video about the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan and was complemented by a slide presentation.

  Also, the head of the department of the Military Medical Academy of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Colonel B.Kh. Khalimov spoke about the Military Medical Academy and the benefits available to military personnel. Captain Y.Z. Nazarov, senior resident at Samarkand Military Hospital, told about the requirements and procedures for accepting cadets to the Military Medical Academy.

  At the end of the event, representatives of the Military Medical Academy and specialists of the Samarkand Regional Hospital answered the questions of the students.
