An Italian delegation headed by Diego Lops, professor at the University of Milan (Italy) and Manuel Elia, a representative of “Osteocom” company visited Samarkand State Medical Institute. Members of delegation from Italy met with the Rector of Samarkand State Medical Institute Zh.A.Rizaev. During the negotiations, an agreement on establishing ties between SamSMI and the University of Milan was reached.

  Within the framework of the visit to SamSMI, guests familiarized themselves with the conditions created at the Institute and the educational process, visited classrooms, modern laboratories of the Institute and warmly commented on them.

  During the next part of the visit, Diego Lops, professor at Milan University, delivered a report on "The role of innovative magneto-dynamic technologies in dentistry" to the teaching staff of SamSMI, clinical residents, bachelor's and master's students of the Faculty of Dentistry. In his report, Diego Lops shared his research on the topic, highlighted the advantages and disadvantages of this technology in the treatment of dental and gum diseases, talked about the features of the post-implantation stage. It is worth noting that the dear guest shared with the participants of the meeting his advanced experience which is in great demand in the world and in Italy.
