Samarkand State Medical Institute's delegation consisting of Vice-rector for academic work N.A.Yarmukhamedova and Vice-rector for medical work, chief physician of Clinic No.1 N.N.Abdullayeva visited Turkey within academic mobility on January 15-18.

  Members of delegation had a meeting with representatives of Turkish company “MLP CARE”. Director General of international marketing and business development group of the Turkish company Melis Indirkash noted the high scientific potential of SamSMI, technical equipment of institute's clinic and other medical institutions of Samarkand region. The sides expressed willingness to cooperate in introducing high-tech treatment methods in medical facilities of the region, including clinics of the institute.

  Also, during negotiations with the Samarqand Institute's Clinic No.1 it was signed an agreement on cooperation with “MEDICAL PARK” Hospital of “MLP CARE” on introduction of liver transplantation surgery with the assistance of the Turkish side. Besides, within the framework of this agreement, organization of master classes and training courses by Turkish specialists on liver transplantation for the staff of the clinics of institute is planned.

  The signing of the cooperation agreement will facilitate the introduction of high-tech treatments at the institute's clinics as well as the training of highly qualified specialists for the region's healthcare system.
