On 26-27 October, Tashkent Medical Academy hosted the 1st International Student Olympiad "Experts of Medicine". Students from all medical universities of Russia, Kazakhstan and the Republic took part in it.

  Questions and tasks of the Olympiad were aimed to evaluate theoretical knowledge and practical medical skills of the participants on “Urgent Care”, “Resuscitation”, “X-ray”, “Obstetrics”, “Interpretation of laboratory research methods”, “Recording and interpretation of electrocardiograms”. Our students demonstrated their knowledge and skills in a fierce competition in total 20 directions.

  The competition was conducted by an experienced international jury, and the participants' medical skills were assessed in both individual and team work. Our students took honourable places in the competition and were awarded first degree diplomas in the categories.
