Attention to youth is considered strategic for our institute and country, as evidenced by the raising of this issue to the level of public policy. Focusing on education of young people, increasing support to youth in all spheres of life creates many opportunities for them. After all, young people are the future of our Motherland, the creators of our future.

  A regular Academic Council of Samarkand State Medical Institute was held on October 27. At the meeting, 10 out of 52 holders of the Rector`s Scholarship were awarded diplomas.

  Success of winners of XII International Students Olympiad “Dentistry South – 2021” was also noted, in particular, Ruslan Mansurov won the Ist place in the field of “Therapeutic Dentistry”; Munis Erkinov - IInd place in “Surgical Dentistry”; Umida Burgutova - IIIrd place in the field of “Propaedeutics of dental diseases”.

  After, members of Youth Union of Samarkand State Medical Institute took an active participation in contests in frames of “Student Youth and Elections” forum among students of higher educational institutions of our country, who won the following prizes:

1.“I decide my own future, don't I?” 1st place in the intellectual contest “Debates”.

2.1st place in the quiz on election legislation and election process

3.2nd place in poetry competition.

The winners were awarded diplomas and souvenirs.

  The issue of further increasing the prestige of the institute through the participation of our students in various Olympiads and competitions was also highlighted at the end of meeting.
