On 24 September, representatives of Ivoclar Vivadent (Germany) visited the Samarkand State Medical Institute. In particular, they were Mr. Viktor Daub, head of the medical department of Ivoclar Vivadent for CIS and Baltic States, an expert in microprosthetics and aesthetic restorations, and Mr. Arthur Feller, dental technician.

  So, the meeting, which was organised by Alisher Akhmedov, the Dean of the Faculty of Dentistry, was attended by undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as residents of our institute. The guests presented the latest information on current issues in modern dentistry.

  Thus, Dr. Victor Daub carried out a masterclass on Ivoclar composites and bonding systems in the Department of Therapeutic Dentistry and his colleague Artur Feller shared his experiences and knowledge on modern prosthetic dentures in the Department of Prosthodontics. At the end of the masterclasses, the participants received answers to all their questions and certificates.
