Today, the Samarkand State Medical Institute hosted a meeting of the regional council of UzLiDeP (Uzbekistan Liberal Democratic Party), the council “Women's Wings” and the centre “Political Education” on the preparation for the presidential election in Uzbekistan.

  So, the event was opened by Eldor Sayfullaevich Tangirov, Vice-Rector of the Institute. During the meeting the importance of the elections, which will be held on October 24, and the need for each voter to take a responsible attitude to them were emphasized.

  Then, the Samarkand regional council of UzLiDeP - the Party of Entrepreneurs and Businessmen, held an action to promote the book of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “Strategy of New Uzbekistan” as part of the campaign “We are the choice of doctors - Shavkat Mirziyoyev”.

  During the meeting it was noted that the protection of public health, the formation of a healthy lifestyle for families, maternal and child welfare, improving the quality and effectiveness of medical care, strengthening the material and technical base of medical institutions, improving the quality of medical services is one of the most important objectives of the election program of candidate Shavkat Mirziyoyev. It was also noted that the extensive reforms taking place in the country provided the new level of quality of medical services, which, in turn, is important for the further consolidation of citizens' health.

  The participants of the event also listened to the reports on the theme – “Quality education as a key factor of the development of human capital” prepared by Ms. J.B. Sayfiddinova, Deputy Chair of the Samarkand Regional Council, Head of the “Political Education” Centre, and Ms. D.K. Kholmurodova, the Head of the Department of Medical Chemistry of Samarkand State Medical Institute, activist of the Regional Council “Women's Wings” of the UzLiDeP.
