On June 26, 2021 a seminar-training was held by staff of the Samarkand State Medical Institute in Pastdargom district of the region. The meeting was attended by representatives of the district khokimiyat (governor's office), health facilities, education, citizens' assemblies (makhallas) and other public organizations.

  The head of department of internal diseases №4, associate professor M.B. Kholzhigitova, associate professor of department of Propaedeutics of Pediatric Diseases Sh.M.Uralov and senior teacher of this department Sh.M.Toshnazarov made a report at the seminar. Thus, they told about actual issues of prevention of non-infectious diseases, maintenance of reproductive health, conduction of healthy lifestyle and introduction of principles of healthy nutrition in everyday life. Also, representatives of the Institute gave explanations on the necessity and effectiveness of vaccination measures against coronavirus infection, especially noting that an active and healthy lifestyle is a prerequisite for the prevention of various diseases of the body.

  At the end of the meeting, an agreement was reached to disseminate the knowledge obtained by the participants among the general population at the local level.
