From February 10 to 17, 2021 at Samarkand State Medical Institute at the initiative of Sport Club and Youth Union under the motto "Healthy Life - Great Future" sports events for "Rector's Cup" are held. The competition takes place in the Sports Hall of the Academic Lyceum of the Institute.
  So, rector of the Institute Prof. J.A.Rizaev opened the sport competitions and noted the role of sport and healthy life style for a healthy life and announced the holding of similar competitions in football in future.
  February 10-13, 30 teams will take part in the volleyball competition. February 14-16, teams from all faculties of the Institute will also participate in the chess competition.
  it should be noticed that according to the results of competitions, the teams winning 1, 2, 3 places will be awarded commemorative gifts and diplomas of the Institute.
