Introducing students to the theatre, enhancing their spirituality and culture is now a priority in our country.
Premiere of the play "Repentance" by talented director Gofur Mardonov based on the work of the same name by famous journalist, member of the Union of Writers of the country Farmon Toshev was held in Regional Drama Theatre. Led by Rector Prof Jasur Rizaev, the premiere was attended by students, faculty and administration of the Samarkand State Medical Institute.
  It should be emphasized that talented performance of roles and dramatic plot of the play, in which a negligent son repents to his parents, had a great emotional impact on all spectators.
  At the end of the drama, the actors' performance was greeted with a standing ovation, and the representatives of the institute unanimously expressed their wish to regularly attend the productions of the theatre.
