First deputy health minister meets graduate students

  First Deputy Minister of Healthcare of the Republic of Uzbekistan Amrillo Shodievich Inoyatov visited Samarkand State Medical Institute on April 21. During the visit a meeting with senior bachelor students, master's degree residents and clinical interns was held at the institute. S.S. Zainiev, First Deputy Head of Health Department of Samarkand region, N.A. Yarmukhammedova, Vice-rector on educational work of Samarkand State Medical Institute, N.N. Abdullaeva, Vice-rector on medical work, chief physician of Clinic No 1 also took part at the meeting.

  Opening the meeting, A.Sh. Inoyatov congratulated all the participants with successful graduation from the institute and provided detailed information about reforms implemented under the leadership of President in the healthcare system of Uzbekistan, human resource status in healthcare establishments of the republic, conditions created for young professionals, benefits and preferences at the local level. First Deputy Minister of Healthcare underscored the need for qualified medical personnel in regions, particularly in remote areas, and expressed confidence in his personal assistance in case the graduates encounter employment problems. Then, First Deputy Head of Regional Public Health Department S.S. Zainiev informed the participants about situation with employment of graduates in public health institutions in places, available vacancies in regional, city and district levels of public health system, high demand for general practitioners and specialists of narrow profile, measures taken to create conditions for graduates of the Institute for professional activity in places at the meeting.

  At the end of the meeting with the graduates A.Sh. Inoyatov answered in detail all the questions asked by the participants and wished them future success in their work.
