Under the "Week of Reading", initiated by the Information Resource Centre of Samarkand State Medical Institute, an exhibition of new books from the library "The Book is a Mirror of Knowledge" was held, where a number of new scientific and fiction books of Russian and foreign authors, as well as scientific and popular magazines regularly received by the Institute were presented.

  There was also a presentation of the works of L.T. Razykova, the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology, Associate Professor. Her published works such as a textbook "Russian Language", monograph "Scientific and Pedagogical Basis for Formation and Development of Research Skills among Students" and a manual "Diligent Girls" are based on her many years of teaching experience and are intended for students, graduate students, teachers, and a wide range of readers. Thus, participants of the presentation highly appreciated the content and relevance of the presented works and expressed their wishes to spread the culture of reading among all students and staff of the Institute.
