On January 29, the Лрokim of Narpai district of Samarkand region Sherzod Rakhmonov met with students from the mentioned district, studying at the Samarkand State Medical Institute. The meeting was also attended by senior officials of the khokimiyat, the district health department, representatives of the faculty of Samarkand State Medical Institute.

  So, the meeting was started by E.S. Tangirov, vice-rector for youth affairs, who outlined the agenda and purpose of the discussion. Then the floor was given to the Khokim of the district Sh.S. Rakhmonov. After welcoming the participants, Sherzod Rakhmonov spoke about the extensive constructive work, which is being carried out in Narpai district, improvement in the areas of education and health care. Khokim emphasized the vacancies in many medical specialties in the district, such as family doctors, obstetricians and gynaecologists, doctors of emergency medical service. "The district leadership will take all measures to fully support young people who will work in our district after graduating from the institute" - the khokim underlined.

  Thus, leadership of the district listened attentively to the appeals and suggestions of students and noted the possibility of providing soft loans and available buildings for those who intend to develop private medicine in the district.

  At the end of the meeting, the students of the institute were given sets of books and other memorable gifts on behalf of the district khokim.
