On January 26, meeting with the first-year students of Samarkand State Medical Institute was held at the Assembly Hall of the Faculty of Medicine.

  Dean of the faculty, DSc Lutfullaev welcomed all participants of the meeting and talked about the history and present day of the institute and opportunities created for students to receive higher medical education. Gayrat Lutfullaev noted that students of the Medical Faculty should always be proud of studying at the first faculty of our glorious institute. He also called on all students to study diligently, lead a healthy lifestyle, maintain sanitary and hygienic conditions at the institute and at home, and always be an example to others.

  Gavkhar Ismailovna Khudojberdiyeva, Chairwoman of the Women's Council of Samarkand State Medical Institute, also addressed the meeting. She called on everyone to be active in the public life of the Institute, take part in the numerous existing scientific clubs, as well as fully use the opportunities available at the Institute for creative and comprehensive development.

  Finally, the meeting was also held to listen to the proposals and suggestions of the students of the faculty. The first-year students received answers to all their questions.
