Abstract
В течение последнего десятилетия во многих странах мира наметилась четкая тенденция к увеличению случаев частоты встречаемости энтеровирусной инфекции, о чем свидетельствуют регистрируемые во многих странах эпидемические подъемы и вспышки наиболее манифестных клинических форм этого заболевания. География ЭВИ чрезвычайно широка и охватывает все страны мира, в том числе и постсоветского пространства. Они связаны в основ-ном с метаболизмом белков и структурными измене-ниями, что приводит к гибели нейронных клеток. Ви-русные инфекции влияют на эти клеточные процессы и могут стать этиологическим фактором неврологи-ческих заболеваний. Энтеровирусы (ЭВ) часто пора-жают центральную нервную систему (ЦНС). В связи с этим мы обсуждаем самые последние результаты по этому вопросу, изучая возможную роль ЭВ в развитии НДЗ.
