Abstract

The problem of timely diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic gastroduodenal pathology in children has always been one of the urgent problems of pediatrics. In the course of a survey of 286 children and adolescents with chronic gastroduodenal pathology, it was noted that most often patients develop anemia, of which 53.8% are children with iron deficiency anemia. At the same time, the greatest number of clinical occurrences of anemia is observed among children with ulcerative lesions of the gastroduodenal zone - 76.9%. In particular, in children with chronic gastroduodenal pathology, depending on the type of disease, the clinical and laboratory picture of iron deficiency anemia changes, so in children with chronic gastroduodenitis, it is more pronounced with chronic gastritis.
