Abstract

20% of worldwide population are infected with fungous infection. Perennial studies show that otomycosis is most frequent type of mycoses, especially in children. Author describes main infectious agents, origins and factors, predisposed to development of mycotic infection. Such problems as difficulties of diagnosis, differential diagnosis with a number of other diseases and main principles of treatment are described
