Аннотация
НАЖБП остается одним из наиболее распространенных заболеваний печени во всем мире, с растущей распространенностью в сочетании с эпидемией ожирения и метаболического синдрома. Данные о естественной истории, хотя и с некоторой неясностью, свидетельствуют о потенциале некоторых подмножеств НАЖБП прогрессировать до цирроза, осложнений, связанных с печенью, и смертности. В этих условиях НАЖБП оказывается грозным заболеванием, имеющим значительное клиническое бремя как для настоящего, так и для будущего.
